Centrum Galerie, Dresden


The Centrum Galerie with over 120 retail units is the largest shopping centre in Dresden, Germany. Completed in 2009 with more than 52.00 meter square of shopping space.


This building is described by the maximum usage of energy resources and space. It is the first building in the continental Europe to be awarded a BREEM excellent rating for its architectural quality and its focus on sustainability.

The green roof helps with water run off, improving insulation and increases lifespan of roof.

Photovoltaic panels are installed to provide some energy it needs.

Have a comprehensive lighting management system switching on the lights only when needed.

In construction the materials were chosen very carefully for maximum reduction of heat dispersion.
